WMG will follow the CDC guidelines and state and federal guidelines in regard to Covid 19. We are all in this together and we will navigate Covid 19 issues as they arise. With that being said, please refer to the rest of this page for WMG policies, procedures, and questionnaire and communication in reference to Covid 19. Please read through everything thoroughly and contact us if you have any questions. We aren’t requiring documents to be signed but prior to each program and day out, please refer to the Covid 19 questionnaire below.

  • WMG and their guides will abide by Federal, State, National Forest, and Local health authorities’ guidance and rules, and recommendations. WMG will train their guides to understand the symptoms, routes of transmission, and appropriate hygiene and sanitation issues in regard to Covid-19. We ask that you familiarize yourself with all the information regarding Covid-19 from the CDC.

  • WMG will travel to the venues alone and follow state rules. Clients will not be able to ride with the guides, you will have to travel to and from venues on your own.

  • WMG guides will bring hand sanitizer/ hand washing products and will use them regularly especially when touching/ preparing food. We ask that you bring hand sanitizer and use it regularly as well to mitigate the risk of spreading germs.

  • We will attempt to maintain social distancing of 6’ or greater where it is possible and appropriate. We ask that you help with this as well but please understand it will not always be possible to do so while climbing or in alpine environments. We ask that you bring a face mask and use it when we can’t social distance. WMG guides will promote infection control measures according to the state and CDC guidelines.

  • WMG guides will bring their own food and water and will not share with guests unless in case of emergency. We ask that you bring your own food and water and not share with other guests.

  • WMG will provide first aid to the level of training that we are certified (Wilderness First Responder) and in adherence to the evolving recommendations from health authorities regarding patient interactions in our curren Covid-19 environment.

  • If your guide becomes ill with symptoms of Covid-19 after your trip, we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you of possible exposure. We ask that if you become ill within 14 days of your trip that you contact WMG as well to notify us so we can let other guests know as well. We will not use any names and will keep your identity safe.
