Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and changes are not always planned but they are a part of life. With this in mind, WMG has the following policies in place to help protect the guides and yourself.
A non-refundable 30% will secure your adventure with WMG.
Full payment will be requested 30 days prior to your adventure.

Any trip that is cancelled due to Covid-19, we will refund your total trip minus the 30% that is non-refundable. That will help us to cover the guide's expenses of travel/ food/ child care/ etc. WMG asks that you consider rescheduling to another date instead of a refund to support small businesses.

Inclement weather is part of being in the mountains and can lead to an amazing experience and learning environment! As my college professor once said, “things change”. The same goes for the weather we can’t change the weather but we can always change our perspectives and attitudes!
Safety is the main priority and if the weather is deemed unsafe prior to the program/ date of the trip, we will email you as soon as possible to talk about alternatives. If there are no alternatives due to the weather deteriorating, you can reschedule your adventure up to one year from the original date.

Part of the experience in the winter is experiencing the adverse conditions you will encounter on any given day in the alpine. Mount Washington ascents will be attempted in all conditions. Other winter activities will run according to plan given the weather. Part of a mountaineering experience is the potential of the unknowns and always having the risk of turning around before the summit. If route conditions are deemed unsafe, we will reach out with alternative plans. If the weather is deteriorating drastically and there are no suitable alternatives, you may reschedule your adventure up to one year from the original date for no extra cost!

Please reach out as soon as possible if you need to change a date or cancel a booking and we can figure out solutions in a timely manner.
If notified within 3-4 weeks, 70% of the cost will be issued as a credit valid for one year.
If notified in 2 weeks or less, 50% of the total will be issued as a credit valid for one year.
Under one week will result in no refund or credit.

If you had an amazing time with WMG and were satisfied with the experience, please support our guides by tipping. It goes a long way and helps guides to pay for expenses and towards future courses.
Please set aside 15-25% of the cost of the program per person for tips.
